The latest superhero comic TV adaptation is finally here in the form of Robert Kirkman’s “Invincible”. Robert Kirkman, best known for the wildly popular comic series and AMC TV drama “The Walking Dead” is back at the executive producer helm for this animation.

But don’t let this animated show fool you – it’s rated TV-MA and is not intended for the kiddos. Similar to another Prime Video comic adaptation “The Boys”, “Invincible” explores the dark side of being a superhero.

Invincible follows a seventeen-year-old named Mark Grayson who grows up in the shadow of his superhero dad Omni-Man. Mark finally develops super powers of his own and this captivatingly twisted story evolves from there.

The first three episodes are available on Amazon Prime Video starting today, March 26, 2021. The episodes are titled, “IT”S ABOUT TIME” (48 min), “HERE GOES NOTHING” (44 min), and “WHO YOU CALLING UGLY?” (42 min). Subsequent episodes will be released every Friday and will have a total of eight episodes.

“Invincible” voice cast includes Steven Yeun, J. K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, and many more.
